Converting a 1000-post WordPress blog to a Hashnode blog.

Converting a WordPress site must be easy, but for some reason, it is not. You have to install plugins to convert your blog into another form if you want to export it. This application gives you the ability to take control of your data and publish or convert it from one platform to another. Taking back control.
Now let's see how I converted a 1000-post WordPress blog with this application with just one click.

Prequisits:
A WordPress Local installation : 6.4.3
Plugins: "Fakerpress" to make 1000 points with
Locally Installed working copy of "OneDataExpress"

Now Its just as simple as putting the information in and letting it run.

Step 1 : Insert the WordPress details

Yes. You can use http and https for any URL you want. Local services will also work, like http://localhost:3000.

Step 2: Add the Hashnode settings for your blog or production.

Step 3: Start Converting.

I got to your site now; click the start button. It will prepare the site and download the categories and tags. When prepared, click on "Start Fetching Posts.". This will get all the posts and convert them. Now, after this, we just need to publish them all. Thats it. Currently, we do not have the ability to check the number of posts that are deleted or check the progress; just keep an eye on the Laravel queue to finish before you start the publish all button.

That's it. Your posts are now available inside Hashnode.

Note: I will update the application with proper feedback about the progress and others, which was not possible at the time of writing.

In this video, I have recorded the whole process. Keep at this look.
